You are welcome to bring along your babies if they are breast feeding to the workshop. But please be mindful if they are crying or upset that there are a lot of other people at the workshop so you will need to take them out and settle them and then come back in.

I find the statement that only breastfed babies are welcome at your seminars highly offensive. The years and years of medical treatment I endured to enable me to finally hold my baby in my arms have unfortunately meant that I will not be able to breast feed. Yes breast is best but for some people it is not possible and making statements like yours just add to the pain and grief I and all the women in my situation feel.

Hello anonymous.

i am very sorry if you have taken offense to the wording in my listing. i have since changed the way my future listings are worded. Basically what I was trying to let parents who want to come to the worksops know is that babies who are still being regularly fed i.e every couple of hours are welcome but older babies who are on the move can be a bit of a haszzard and a distraction when I have up to 100 people in a room. Some times I get asked if a mum can bring her 3 children along which is obviously not ideal so I thought if I said breast feeding they would get the gist of the age. I bottle fed part-time because i had a terrible time breastfeeding with a tounge tied baby and had no intention of offending anyone but unfortunately people take it other ways than intended so I have worked on changing the wording so no one feels excluded (if anyone has any suggestions please let me know). I feel upset that sometimes people don't think to ask for clarification but just assume the worst, but it doesn't matter how you word things often it can be taken either way so i am sorry if anyone has been offended at my wording but in future know that you are more than welcome to contact me and give another option of wording. I am just trying to make things as clear and as easy as possible for people to understand.
